Robert J. Purgert, MD, PhD

A native Clevelander, Dr. Purgert is excited to lead the Ophthalmic Consultants and Surgeons team. He completed medical school at Washington University in St. Louis. He returned to Cleveland to complete residency at the Cleveland Clinic. He capped his training with a fellowship in glaucoma at Philadelphia's prestigious Wills Eye Hospital, one of the top eye care institutions in the world. Dr. Purgert looks forward to bringing his knowledge of the newest eye care treatments to his patients.
